When should I start preparing my body for conception?
"3 months prior to conception, this is an important time for both sperm and egg development, Sperm is created from scratch every 3 months while egg cells develop from immature follicles to mature cells ready to make a baby in approx. 3 months. These cells are exposed to absolutely everything you do (eat, sleep, drink, stress, smoke) in those 3 months. This gives us a really good opportunity to optimise the quality of the sperm and egg during this time and in turn, impacts the health of your unborn child."

Does a Low AMH mean I can't get pregnant?
"No, The level or measurement of Anti Mullerian Hormone in a woman is simply a response to a number of things going on in the ovaries and is not static. It gives a rough idea as to how many eggs may be present. This is only a general indicator used to ascertain levels for possible retrieval if IVF is being considered. The most important thing to remember is that you only need one egg that is of good quality and strong enough to fully mature. Egg quality is far more important."
